Thoughts on Darius PBE buff

4/23 PBE Update: Summoner Icon, Login Themes, & More

Decimate (Q) Blade damage increased from 40/70/100/130/160 to 50/80/110/140/170 Heal increased from 12/24/36% missing health to 15/30/45% missing health

I like the heal buff it definitely gives him more survivability in lane and makes him actually more useful in late game team fights especially if you land Q on 3 players, however, the small buff on his Q damage is totally unnecessary IMO I don't mind it that much but considering he's already gotten a lot of damage buffs last 2 times he was in the patch notes, I don't really see it as a 'needed' buff.

But overall I'd say it's a buff in a good direction.

I can see where you're coming from, and I do agree.

But, to play Devil's Advocate for a moment...

I'm under the assumption that this damage buff applies to the Outer circle of his Q, the one that hits with the blade and applies the heal. 10 Damage is not all that huge to be honest. And it's a flat 10, no adding up with each rank of the skill, or additions to the ratios, just a flat 10 damage to each rank.

Besides, this is just on the PBE; it's not set in stone that this will even reach Live servers.

His heal buff is good

his Q damage buff is not needed but I don't think it will make him broken, it's only +10

this is one of riots methods of saying "we want him to be viable in higher elos " because yea Darius in high elos is as useful as a dog licking its own ass, why because his champ is pretty much for stomping low elo plebs that cant kite or know how to respect the range of his grab

what you should be worried about is if they start saying hey "when u cast q you get a small boost in movement speed that stacks with black cleaver" then you can say its busted.

I’m ok with this buff but I would like to see riot make phase rush a less viable option on him because of you have to play against a Darius that takes ghost ignite and phase rush it is not fun at all. I want to see Darius pushed towards taking conquer or pta instead of phase rush but I could be alone in that wish.

This will make him destroy the champions he is already good vs and do nothing vs the champions he is already bad vs.

Still a permanent ban from me because he counters every top laner I like to play.

He is a lane bully that cant bully any lanes.

I wish they made renektontonton better too.
