Does Lethality benefit or hurt Gangplank?
Hey there, Onwodori here.
So with the overhaul of Lethality and assassin items in general, I of course am wondering how my favorite Pirate King will feel. In short order:
Is now cheaper and has bonus movement speed for him (MS was not beneficial)
On hit true damage is fantastic, especially if you build the other Lethality items
Incredible for him on paper, just missing CDR really
Being one of the best at blowing up local chicken camps, you can steal those away decently consistent.
So, again, on paper, he gotten a lot strong but it's hard to say just how armor pen translates to lethality and vice versa. Armor Pen GP's strength came from the sudden spike in power when you complete 
Going by how ADCs are tooling currently, that spike isn't as prevalent.
Thoughts?

EDIT - Something really cool, I realized, is that you can realistically have a spoopy full damage build like this for a surprisingly low cost.
