You don't. I levelled up and got a champion shard and nothing else.

I got a champion capsule containing 5 champion shards that I sold at like 160 BE each

So I made about 800 BE from lvl 30-31

I got one champion shard from leveling up and got 900BE from it,it was Vayne but I already have her,then also got a honor capsule today and that was another 900BE,that was Kennen but I have him too.

30-31 got me 810 BE. In other words... hardly a thing.
