Idea to reduce low key frag. drop rate frustration RIOT PLEASE :>
Too much unpredictability creates too much frustration, and it's very unpredictable when you will get a key fragment or not when you win game.
According to what i understand the rate of the possibility of a key fragments drop gets lower the more you get with a limit of 12 keys - (or fragments am not sure of this part) - per month and their is a cap of max wins between each drop and another, then everything refreshes accordingly to each player every monthly cycle.
So for chests you know if it's possibly to get a chest, for what champions and how to do it, But for key fragments it's too vague you're always trying and you never know when will it happen, it's all in the air.
So what if their is and indicator for key fragments just like chest;
1st it will show if you've reached your limit already and you didn't notice, which will prevent the frustrated player who's grinding games in hopes to get his/her 3rd key frag to finally open a chest while it's already impossible for him/her until the next cycle refresh,[zombie-brand-facepalm] and you can stop grinding and play when you feel you want to actually just play for the enjoyment of the game.
2nd an approximate percentage of the X player chance of getting a key frag when he/she wins a game (according to the algorithm the system uses depending on how much fragments the player acquired in this X cycle) this will make the player slightly adjust his expectations accordingly; for example if am at 10% i would be fine winning 9 games and still not getting a fragment (am already not expecting it but it will be GREAT for example if i do in the 2nd game on that percentage).
3rd An indicator of the max wins between two key fragment drops, once you reach it this is the only time in which you know this is it am getting a key fragment when i win this game, this would be awesome. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
