The mysterious side of LOL

basically a question to the great Lore team (i have faith since the "awesomeness" that is the Blight-Water event) .

will we ever get the chance to know more about some of the most mysterious champion we have ?!

-such as ; whats/who are the Darkins and their mission .. what is the relation to Tryndamere ?

-why is cursed in the 1st place with such a sad curse :( ?

- aside obviously .. !!

-who was & does he and Mord share ?

???!!!

- .. the reason for his greef and why he is what he is now ? .. what do the alters talk about ?!

-will we ever know if is a man or a demon ? ... will we know if he actually wants something or he is just in it for the kicks ?!

-where did come from and when and why ? .... and with the new lore is there a plan for him to fit in the new ? ... will questions about him be answered ?

will we ever get answers to these question? or it will always be left open ended and let our curiosity eat us alive

Honestly,originally I wouldn't have thought that they have any answers to these questions(and ok I still doubt this about some characters whose lore is still outdated and hasn't been altered at all). I mean they once had this interview with shaco in the JoJ and it basically gave us no info at all,which showed that they themselves had no idea what to do with him.

I guess they have already plans for Hecarim(his appearant loss of personality and the unknown betrayal are clearly forshadowing for something),Mordekaiser(the altar-quotes also forshadow some stuff,although it is a bit more ambigiuos),Aatrox(I think they have a very clear goal for him,though I doubt that the darkin as a whole have goal,they seem to work alone) and amumu(that leaked lore already hinted at amumus past,which is most likely related to his curse)

However,given the current speed of the lore,I doubt we'll get these mysteries solved anytime soon.

Honestly, they just **** up on many many things. I am pretty sure that Riot themself have no idea on many of those things, i think because originally this game was much much simpler in scope (the lore was jsut a side thing, just tolet you know the basci stuff on who are you playing with)

Remember that League of Legends wasn't born with Millions and millions of players, and to be honest it was pretty horrible back then.

Anyway the incredible success that the game had also had the "negative" side effect of showing to everyone the "weak spots" of the game. Lore certainly was one, still is, but We are SLOWLY fixing it. It's not only the lore but the ART, the CLIENT ITSELF, it's all outdated. I mean, You can look at the old anivia splahs art (that we had still in game until few weeks back) to see the standards.

So this is all to say that those are just things with no answer, THAT THEY HAVE TO FIX.

They have to, because hopefully they understood that the lore and the champions are what give more richness to the game itself.

So to return to your point, Riot is still doing things wrong in my opinions, in the fact that many champions mysteries are exactly that... a "mystery".

It's okay to have some mysteries to develop future stories and keep the suspance, but right now there are so many that it's just awful.

Even the more recents champions, many are just a mystery. For example Bard is a pretty recent champion, but is just a mystery as much as Aatrox, BRand and others...

So i hope they fix these things

I'm more curious about PROJECT: Lore at the moment actually xD I thought it will be cool if they announce the back story about it
