Can we mute pings?

I don't know if this option exists or not but can we mute individual pings in league? I know I'm not the only one who's had this but the constantly ping spamming is really annoying and can sometimes tilt people/make them lose focus and I was wondering if we could maybe stop that?

I fully understand that pings are used to communicate that an enemy is missing or something but a lot of people are using them as a form of spam to annoy their teammates for whatever reason and I was wondering if I could mute certain people's pings
