Twitch needs some minor buffs

Hey all,

So lately I've been playing twitch a lot, and even though the meta for him is pretty suitable for him to become valiable again... his lacks still have not been fixed. Admittedly, Twitch's late-game power is no joke, it's really strong, but... his early and midgame is horrible. Both played as Jungle or ADC, he underperforms massively before the 20 minute mark. This is because of two reasons; he is bad with trading/duelling, and he is extremely mana-hungry. The damage received from his passive is no threat unless you maximize your E, but your E is horribly expensive to cast. Your W is not reliable to work with because the slow is minor and doesn't stop dash, flash or blinks. It's only nice for those 2 extra stacks late-game to execute with your E. So, here are some suggestions that I would love to throw in to make Twitch more reliable in his duelling potential, to come in par with other ADC's:

Passive + stats:

  • Increase his mana, to ~300 - ~1000 (based on level)
  • Increase Deadly Venom damage to 2/4/6/8/10 per stack of Deadly Venom.

Venom Cask (W):

  • decrease the slow to 20/25/30/35/40
  • let the area also "grounding" in addition to its effects

Contaminate (E):

  • reduce its mana cost to 50/55/60/65/70
  • increase the BASE damage of Contaminate, but reduce the AD scaling from 35% to 30%

the goal; Increase Twitch's early-game relevance without empowering his late-game power, giving him slightly more kill-securing methods and trading value.

That's the tradeoff. He has a weak early and strong late. If he has both, he has no weaknesses.

Do not reduce his E's mana costs, you'd risk breaking him and making him permaban above low gold. On the contrary, reducing his E's ad scaling is a massive damage drop and is the opposite of what an assassin needs, while doing nothing for his in-lane damage because he's buying Aspeed first (or a whopping 25 AD item 3144 , at best.)

There's no reason why a toxic liquid would have a grounding effect, nor does Twitch struggle against mobile champions. He has 800 range AoE autos. And Stealth.

I wouldn't mind buffing his passive damage though, it's ... very lackluster. 36 true damage isn't even enough to negate natural Regen on any champion with a single Crystalline Bracer or Spectre's Cowl item 3801 item 3211 Overall, balance wise Twitch is fine as he is you just need to play a little differently since he doesn't have the hard CC ADCs like Cait, Ashe and Jhin do or a reliable escape like Tristana/Kai'sa has.

i agree. Twitch's Stealth should be replaced with something else. or the very least make him true invisible. cause nothing is more annoying than going invisible trying to escape and the enemy adc/jg is tail grabbing your ass, knowing where you are and just waiting for their main power to go off cooldown so they can kill you.

Nope. Twitch doesn't need buffs. He's very delicate when it comes to balance as it is.
