Is it me or when you win to many games, the team matchup is unfair?

It seems to me that if I win one too many games in competitive, that I will be match-up with the poorest team against an Op team. I find this annoying thus I should always be matched up against players of my level.

How am I expected to win and level up if you match me against better players? It would be like having junior high-school basketball teams compete against NBA to see if they can get any better...

Nope, they will get their ass kicked. No miracle.

Here is an example (image) of my last game played to better illustrate my point of view.

Wow, I have never seen negative lolking ratings. See that 1 guy with -200 rating? That number is closer to his actual MMR than his Division represents. No clue how he's pulling that off, though.

Also, 100 MMR difference isn't analogous to your analogy. That would be more like the difference between Bronze and Diamond.

True, my anaolgy is clearly over the top. But still, I don't understand why LOL keeps doing this. I would expect a team of bronze of similar rank, win ratio and skill to be matched up against each other.

I bet my next game (since I have been masacred on the last 2 games) will be the opposite. I will play with the highest ranked and the other team will be the lo level team.

It already does. But it doesn't prevent lopsided lane matchups, like a top lane with a support main getting crushed by a Riven one trick pony.

Since MMR is purely derived from wins and losses, there's a lot of variables matchmaking doesn't take into account. All matchmaking does is create games with 10 players of similar MMR.

Either way, Matchmaking and Leagues are two completely different systems.

This, and unless they implement a form of team builder for ranked, that will always happen. Myself for instance, I don't win ADC games.

Those numbers don't mean anything as they are unrelated to MMR.

the game is almost always one sided but mainly for the wrong reasons. some people counterpick their enemies, some "must play a certain role" you happen to be last pick and get stuck as support even though you only own soraka.

only occasionally do you have a sleeper smurf, and more commonly you have a first time vlad mid. "i gotta play him i just bought him, better play ranked"

i find it super rare to get a good close game.

even in diamond 18min games happen.

There's no direct correlation between Division and MMR. Every players in a game will have roughly the same MMR (average MMR of both players for duos).

It is possible, and they outplayed us for sure. (no doubt about this)

But I am detecting a weird pattern, and I would like to understand how the matchmaking works. So far my match ups feel like either we crush, or either we get crushed. Not only that, but I usually get win strokes and the more I win, the more I will be matched up with losing players and bad attitude players that don't give a damn about playing as a team.

So it just feels like I win 3 games then I lose 2 (and start again)... and my performance doesn't matter. It's just a bad team against a good one.

I am obviously still a newb by the way. I started to play LOL a year ago and I don't put a lot of hours into it. I would just like to understand how the Matchmaking works.
