AFK HURTS!!! Imagine a NHL game with a team that plays without it's goal keeper... (SOLUTIONS)

NO COMPETITIVE GAME can accept AFK (or toxic players).

Imagine an NHL playoff with one of the team missing their goaler for 5 minutes, or even half of the game!!!

It is unacceptable! In any team game, any team sport: having one less players is a severe disadvantage. No referee would start the game.

Yet, in league of legends, you allow players to AFK. You allow game to start with one missing player. Or even so, you allow games with TOXIC TROLL players who destroy the game on purpose.

Again, imagine a goaler in an NHL game that lets the puck in his net ON PURPOSE, just moving to the side and leaving his net open. This guy would be banned of the NHL for life.

But in league of legends, these guys can troll forever.

You need to fix this... but in case you have no idea how to do so, here are a few ideas:

1-Fix you launcher: it crashes way to often. 2-Do a "competitive benchmark test": this test will determine if a player has bandwidth, speed, etc. If you don't have it, you don't play competitive. 3-Penalize players more: I know you wan't to make money, so don't ban accounts, BAN THE RIGHT TO PLAY COMPETITIVE. Give a lot of chances to players in normal mode. But SEVERELY PENALIZE TROLLS AND AFK IN COMPETITIVE. Don't ban their account, JUST GIVE THEM A 30 DAYS NO COMPETITIVE ban (and so on). 4-AFK counter mechanics: Instead of giving us the chance to surrender at 2:30 minutes, give a "STARTING BLOCK" POSITION for players (like in the Olympics). Basically, when the game loads, put 5 DISKS NEXT TO THE SPAWN (and limit players inside the zone). Each players must go onto his POSITION DISK (Jngl, Top, Bot, Mid, Sup) for the game to start. After a minute, if all players ARE NOT ON THEIR STARTING DISK, DON'T START THE GAME. 5-Honor system that actually works: TAKE THE HONOR IN ACCOUNT WHEN MATCHMAKING. Put trolls and suck ass attitude players together. Put Great honored players together. I DON'T CARE LOSING if I played with great spirited players. I DO CARE losing when I have troll idiots ruining it for the whole team.

These are the simple things that pop in my mind real quick... I am sure that with a little thought, you can do better.

well in hockey there are penalties and they lose a player for a certain amount of time , for the other team its called a power play.

You do know that there are people with high ping that can get to high elo right? There are people with high ping that can get to challenger! So option 2 is useless.

People already go around bans very easily... also throwing a problem to other people is not the right way to deal with any problem... ever. People get banned for trolling and being toxic already so this is yet again POINTLESS.

Sorry but what? You literally just gave something that trolls would use at their leisure and make games be even more frustrating overall since the troll can literally force a remake whenever he desires.

This is something that will never be implemented. Riot doesn't do "prisoner island" things and that sort of "punishment" literally has no effect on the vast majority of people and just makes things worst. Not to mention that you are now giving the matchmaker yet another thing to worry about which isn't going to end well... this is not even mentioning that well... people do not like losing! Trolls and toxic players aren't the only ones who get salty when they are losing and aren't the only ones who do stupid stuff when they think the game is lost.

I have no idea what the launcher has to do with the game client but whatever. Do you even know what the launcher is?

Also you want to know something? Pretty sure that if your full team isn't available in a NHL game then they either would have to play the game with the man down or forfeit the game giving them an insta loss... also in soccer if you get enough red cards you will have one less person on the field for the rest of the match.
