I mean, yeah. It was bound to happen. Overwatch, I bet, will take away a good amount of League players. I'm not sad about this though. This means less complainers probably.

I don't get this though. Overwatch is a different kind of game and it's not free.

It's actually a little more similar than you think, especially character wise. All characters have basic abilities and then an ultimate and it's an objective game. Similar enough to warrant some people leaving for it over League.

Of course, this is just during Open Beta. Are they willing to pay $60 for it?

For me the main issue is that it's still a first person shooter. I suck ass at first person shooters in general, and yeah the $60 thing will be a problem for a lot of people.
