I just don't understand...(worth the read)

I don't understand how all over the boards i see posts about people complaining about feeder, troll, afkers, ect,. ect,. And with those posts there are an enormous amount of people who agree that those said people are bad for the game, but with all of the positive people which i'd say 80% of the boards are + people why does it feel like the negatives one outweigh the positive ones?

Also, whenever I play ranked why do i always get the afker and not the other team? In my 70 odd ranked games this season there have been litterally 0 afks on the others team. I mean who doesn't like a little free lp?

It can feel pretty negative sometimes, so join me in the Honor Challenge!

It's easy to remember when you were screwed by an afk or troll and forget every other time. That's called negativity bias. It's also pretty tough to know about the enemy afk/troll because you don't really see what they're doing most of the time.

Self Selection Bias The positive people who choose to post about this problem on the boards are far outnumbered by the people negatively impacting your games.

I laugh when someone makes a post about how toxic players are in their games and what not, then later in the comments you see that same guy calling sm1 else an idiot, newb etc.

(and no, i'm not referring to your post)
