I honestly feel bad for Dyrus..

Like he was one of the original LoL players. One of the first streamers. He is honestly a lot better than what his scores depict. He just gets camped every game becasue their opponet knows he would just farm up to be a late game monster, but his team could never really handle thier own. I would've liked to see him get some more carry oriented top laners in the LCS scene. Dyrus has done a lot for the League of Legends community and he will be missed. Thank you for everything Dyrus and good luck with whatever you do next.

Edit: Also, thank you guys. I've always wanteda post to be one of the top ones. This is just a little extra something sent from Dyrus himself.

I feel so bad at raging at dyrus for Malphite ulting 1 person but I realize if I was on that stage id ult fucking wolves saying I GOT WARWICK and then realizing they dont even have a warwick

Not only was he camped and targeted, his team constantly left him to die every game. At least Oddone actually helped him. I didn't feel like Amazing was a suitable replacement when he joined, but at least he did something other than die like the forever-farmer TSM has now.

So camping him is what caused him to completely screw up a malphite ult? That and Bjerg burning cd's on an ulting Alistar last week is what did in TSM. They looked like a bronze team.

Archon has literally gone to all these Dyrus post and had to hate on him every single time. Has no respect for the guy who has been around the gaming scene. Yea of course he fucked up plays here and there and made just as many if not more good plays. Including sports like football, soccer, etc..there been many of them who weren't as strong as they were in their prime, That goes in any sport. The least you can do is respect the time and effort he put into the game. He has more paid his dues. You on the other hand.....

TSM dominated NA for years, why would you feel bad for Dyrus, for a long time was best top laner in his own region( HUUUUUUUUGE ONE if I might add). You focus too much on resent events and you mix up camping a players for something more than simply stategy. Its up to the rest of the team to do something with it. And no, Dyrus was not good with skill intense carry champions why would you put him on something he never liked to play.

Only thing that might feel bad is that he didn't get retired in NA where majority of his fans come from.

Dyrus was the last thing about tsm that made me root for them sometimes (their guides were a huge help to learning but there don't seem to be as many detailed ones up to date now days, and odd one left). Even though I'm a big fan of his it seems weird to see all this praise and people down voting dyrus hate. The community has been so negative for so long regarding dyrus it just seems hypocritical. Maybe it is just people who didn't say anything before congratulating him as he leaves, but it seems weird.

GL dyrus and I hope you have a blast (and less getting bashed) in whatever you do next.

Nobody said he played his best, anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see he missed ults and made mistakes. And so what? Faker got first blooded this LCS and crapped on 1v1 prior, guess he should hang it up too right? Dyrus is still a world class top laner who got no help from his crumby teammates, stating he should have retired long ago is stupid.

TSM can now get better. Even though I hate them. Fact was, that either Dyrus cant hard carry against todays top laners or TSM doesnt trust him to. Either way, you can never succeed when your only threat is your mid lane and all you do is have jung camp him. Helen Keller even knows THAT.

I think Dyrus is getting too much blame. If you put Cabochard, Marin, or Flandre on TSM's Top lane and they could communicate just as good as Dyrus, i believe you would get similar results. I think Dyrus is not allowed to play carrys, because of the decisions of the analysts, coaching staff and players.

My question is why just Olaf? Why Olaf? Why wasnt Dyrus allowed to play Jax, Irelia, Mundo, Vlad, Mordekaiser, Jayce, Shyvana, or Renekton? Even if he did get the chance, would Dyrus (or his replacement) be allowed to get any resources?

In competition, how many great players were really able to walk away from the game at their best? Everybody talks about going out on top, but so few ever really do. Michael Jordan on the Wizards, Brett Favre on the Jets, every professional wrestler like ever... it's a long list. They always remain great competitors, but everybody knows they just don't have a full tank anymore. Barry Sanders went out on the top of his game, and even that was largely because Lions just weren't winning. If the money is there, it's hard not to lace up those cleats or put on that gaming headset.

Professional gamers have a ton to learn from Dyrus, in terms of ups and downs, highs and lows, and maturing under the pressure of the camera. They have to invest a lot of time into something that only lasts for a short time and is constantly changing. Could you imagine the uproar if Goodell "Juggernaut Patched" the NFL?

Dyrus will come back because he knows that there are MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of people that love and support him, a lot of people love dyrus I mean dyrus was my insperation for playing olaf, renekton, lulu, etc. dyrus has helped me learn who to play and how to play them, Dyrus I want to thank you for all the time you were here for tsm, the time you were there for livestreaming, the time you were there for esports, and the time you were there for US. I will miss him so much when I first saw "Dyrus tribute" on ifunzio's channel I literally started to cry. He was my insperation of everything. I will miss dyrus, i hope he comes back to lcs, tsm or even just livestreaming. Love ya dyrus <3

I agree that he needs to be on more carry toplaners. Games he's playing on Olaf or Darius etc. you can tell he's having a great time and usually does amazing too. But games where his team puts him on someone like Nautilus you can easily tell he just doesn't have his heart in it, and constantly makes mistakes that are uncharacteristic of him.

Someone should just make a custom skin for Darius where it's just Dyrus, holding a pillow or something. I don't even own Darius and I'd use that skin, and if it became a thing, I'd buy it.

Dyrus was the first pro I knew all because of his Jax build guide. I didn't even know he was pro and was part of one of the top 25 teams in the world.
