New Veigar is so terrible...

Okay, I understand as to why Riot removed DFG from the game. And the idea of them going back to some of the champions that use DFG frequently, kind of excited me. In my mind, was thinking that maybe if someone was struck by Veigars Q, they would get the DFG active effect. Or maybe the first person that gets stunned inside Event Horizon would get the effect. So, was pretty excited to hear what they were going to do since Veigar has been one of my most loved characters since Season 2. So, after seeing the changes on the PBE. I was alittle skeptical about the changes, but. I went and gave it an honest try. And from being a Veigar player for so long, and learning him enough to know when I can kill an enemy champion and knowing how much damage I can dish out in any point of the games duration. The changes Riot made was probably one of the dumbest thing's they've done so far.

His Q is mixed feelings. The Pro's about it is that he can clear waves pretty quickly, while also being at a safe distance. You can also poke people that are hiding behind minions. Con's about it is that it's completely useless in teamfights if there is a cluster of thing's happening in the fight. Crowd of minions, Zyra plants or Heimer turrets.

His W is still great. One of his best spells for damage.

His E...Is just terrible. There is no Pro's about it unless there is a long team fight happening in one spot. Veigar can no longer make plays with that Delay before the stun actually is set up and ready. There have been so many times in my test game (Against other players) that I could've killed a handful of people in the game. I was able to counter some counter picks that people tend to say counters Veigar. Yasuo, Fizz, Xerath, Ahri, Ect..

The fact that Event Horizon now has a delay on it, sad to say, but Veigar is going to be put back on the shelf again to collect dust and is no longer going to be useful in competitive play.

And you know, his Ult still blows someone up. But, is no use when you can pull off Veigar's combo on the immediate. Which WAS E+W+Q, and R if the target was still alive (Usually it never was.)

All I know is that, I'm sad about this Veigar change. And am now going to have to search for another main mage.
