Dear Meddler a.k.a Andrei van Roon,

 I understand there are times when champions and items are in need of fixing, items to be removed from the game completely, balances in certain things to make gameplay more smooth. And so far, I have not had a single complaint about riot's doing's in their fixes and changes into this game ever since S1 or S2. Whichever one Sona was new. But, the recent changes you've done to a certain champion of mine that I've spent time with and considered one of my very best has made me dislike you with a passion.

How is ruining Veigar a "Healthy change" for Veigar players?

When I saw this at Surr@20 I wanted to pull my hair out. There is no change for veigar players if they dont want to play him anymore. You ruined him so hard, you may as well put him with urf and kill him off in League of Legends lore. His Q is okay at some points of the game, if you're trying to farm AP at a distance, but in a team fight there is no way in hell he's going to use that if theres a cluster of people. Especially if hes trying to single down a target.

His E.....What the hell were you thinking. A delay? Are you serious? This change out of everything is why people WILL NOT play him anymore the way he used to be played. A 0.75 delay is basically just an alert or a flag saying "Oh, here comes his E. Just sidestep it casually." May as well ping the damn map like TF's ult whenever Veigar throws his E down. This change is so toxic, I can't even begin how the people at Riot that work under a lead developer were just like "Oh man! Meddler, that's a great idea! People will just have to get used to that change for a few months and then we'll tweak him abit! Good job! Promotion!"

Just, so terrible. And to top it all off, not too long before the change there was a LEGENDARY SKIN PEOPLE SPENT MONEY ON. I don't care if it was someones choice to buy the skin or not. The concept, of your favorite character FINALLY getting a legendary. And a really amazing one at that, sure as hell made all Veigar players love that idea. So they GIVE their money to you in approval for doing something amazing to a character they LOVE.

And a few months after you just gut Veigar. Now, he's another champion that was an underdog of sorts and had alot of potential that's going to be shelved next to whoever that is no longer played. Some changes riot did were awesome, my favorite being the Jaximus skin Commemoration. But this one, just makes me think that someone should just demote this guy for making horrible choices to champions. If choices in the Developers board are going to be like this, alot of people are going to not like this company. Should really take more time into decisions like this. Really upsetting decision Riot. Good one.

Come on, man. If you want people to hear you out, try not to be a jerk about it. I am very upset with the veigar patch as well and don't think 5.5 will fix much. but when I discuss the problems, I try to do so in a way where i address the problem and talk about how it can be fixed. and also not be condescending to anyone. It's posts like these that tend to make people not support buffing veigar, because some of the fans end up being extremely obnoxious about it. Sadly, veigar's stun needed a change. it was better than a lot of ultimates in the game. but The change they went with was terrible, and they know that. Here is an example of what i would hope riot would see, rather than a load of ranting Veigar lunatics.

Passive: mana regen Scale off AP This is optional because it would be tough to balance. but i think that veigar is supposed to be a build a LOT of AP, so this could really work with his kit.

Q: lower mana cost and bring cooldown back to old value. For changing Q to be less reliable, there should be something to make it better. now it just pushes lane in early game and cant farm as well in late game. with the increased speed, at least it is a viable harass tool. again, but still too expensive for something not guaranteed.

W: Bring fall time to about .75 and give it a slow. Then reduce the AP scaling to .9 (from 1.0) Currently, with Veigar's less than reliable stun, this would be a great fix. a slowed target is easier to hit with it, and it allows it to work on those "trapped in his cage." Currently, his W does damage, but is useless unless the target stands still for a while.

E: Keep it as it is in 5.5 They made a lot of progress with his E from 5.4. It stops dashes of those inside and now only takes .5 seconds to work. I know .5 seconds is still long enough for people to walk out of it, but with the previous W change, it might be usable. The stopping dashes thing is good in team fights only. It wont have any effect in lane. So while i would prefer for them to lower this to .25 second delay and not put a slow on W, i feel like they won't do that.

R: Bring damage back to 1.2 AP scaling. Honestly, this should never have changed. it was just a random nerf tossed in. I would rather them take a bit of damage off W and put it into his ult for more burst.

There I have said my two cents and like to think i did more than just complain that something is wrong.
