is gargoyles stoneplate any good on swain?

just thought he would love the extra health and it could be used to refill his mana pool(might also work as a substitute for zhonyas) anyone have an opinion on this?

Why would it be good? Would would it be a substitute for Zhonya?

When he has Zhonya activated, his ult is still active. It still does damage. He is completely safe from CC, damage...etc. The Stoneplate would just give him MR. The active would destroy hid dmg output

I don't see it working. Swain's sort of low damage compared to other battle mages, but still the half damage seems pretty harsh.

Champions that would heal a lot during Stoneplate's duration don't benefit as much from it. When the debuff ends, the user returns to the same percentage health rather than same actual health. EFFECTIVELY, this means heals are half as effective as they otherwise would be.
