Why are people in gold 1000000% TRASH. Srs.

People in Gold are absolute shit. Lucian buys BOTRK and has absolutely no positioning. Vel koz 1v1s and then dies, not realizing shes the teams main damage source. Im playing yi and was splitpushing, attracting members of the enemy team, which makes a 4v4 or 4v3 winnable.

Twice, the enemy ezreal, which is an important part of the enemy team obviously, comes bot to stop me. He kills me, but i kill him at the same time both times, except in both of them, he flashed. My team should easily be winning fights with the slightly fed vel koz. The first ccouple of fights, we did ok. Then the enemy akali started scaling. The last fight, I was splitting bot, and BOTH the enemy engage and one of two enemy assassins comes to kill me. I kill them both and my team loses a 4v3.

I ended up having 3 k gold more than anyone on my team, and i did second most damage, and I took the most towers. My team of course, this entire time are busy spamming chat with "worst yi ever seen" and "TRASH". They did not stop even after seeing the stats and they refused to realize they lost a 4v3. They of course blamed the loss on me. Why are peopl so stupid?

Gold players still get paired with silver and plat players with shit mmr. So dont expect to be playing with smart players.

Bronze = Bad Silver = Bad Gold = Bad (Yes im bad as well) Platinum = Bad Diamond = Decent Masters = Good Challenger = God

You have a thousand games played. If something is not working, you accept it won't work as either you or your team cannot handle split pushing. Remember in Solo Queue you need to play the golden standard set up. An off-tank jungler who provides utility, builds a sweeper, and groups. That is the jungler who climbs easier. If you truly wish to climb here are some tips:

  • Not pissing off my team
  • Making my enemy team pissed at each other

How do you achieve that?

  • Grouping demoralizes enemies more than split pushing.
  • Looking like you have a tanky frontline (top and jungler) demoralizes an enemy team more than a split pusher who can 1v1 pogchamp anybody.

You can still play Yi, but I feel in solo queue you need to coddle, and baby your teammates far too much to get away with such a greedy champ pick. Just takes too long for you to get rolling into 1v5 mode, and that whole time your team (if they are getting ganked a lot) are crying and not caring as much.

In solo queue the best way to win is camp 1 lane with a good early - mid pick, shit on a laner, group for early tower taking, wait for the ff at 20. With 5 strangers playing you're bound to tilt 1 (the camped player) which starts an argument with another player (their jungler) which devolves the team into 2 afkers, 1 guy who wont group and 2 tryhards. Its all mental game. You're playing with fragile egos.

I too have 1,000 ranked games and I'm not even in gold. (But I only started ranked in the last preseason and I'm silver 1 right now and I want it so bad >^< wish me luck)

But yeah he's right, things go a lot easier if you flex with your team. Even if you're right, sometimes you need to be the better man and just keep your head down and help your team with whatever they're doing. Now I'm not going to lie there are some boosted @ss animals out there, and I get pissed when my team losses 4v3's sometimes, but there's always something I could have done to help the situation, like ping them not to fight and try to predict the teamfight's loss.

Don't let your ego stop you from getting better. That's the worst thing you can do. As doublelift once said:

You don't have to tell us anything else bro. You splitted off leaving them wth a fed akali. The results are darn obvious.

I have reached gold 1 (dropped to gold 2 atm) and I totally know the feeling. Gold is shit. Its just bronze with little bit more understanding of the game. I had this game where I would jungler and was winning the game for my team, but they all suddenly decide to farm lane and not get objectives. They go in fight without help or wards and keep on feeding enemy team. I don't know why they are so stupid, but it is the way Gold is. Gold isn't that good at all. I don't think even lower plat is good. I think I have to make my way somehow to those upper plat to actually play the real league of legends games.

Just saying politely. You arent hogging all the cs are you? I see a lot of yi players who literally take all of em, and the whole team will slow down gaining levels and items. If you split after doing this, the enemy team will probably notice this and just go balls onto em cause its a granted win.

I know this is a yi strat, but it has a high possibility to backfire horribly

im not taking their cs. Im just farming/splitting alone at bot and top around mid game while my team is mid. I was also power famring my jg for some time.

This forum post is obviously out of rage but I do see where you are getting people are bad from. I was G4 at one point and went down to S2 but you gotta be good enough to carry the team that's what I realize. Some games you're gonna lose because some people just aren't as skilled. Some other games you might just get your ass carried. But you can't just go out and say " all gold players are trash " cause not all are.

Time doesn't matter. It's number of games played. You have over 1,000 ranked games this season alone. I have 1/4th the ranked games you do this season and I'm the same rank as you (and I started in Bronze 3 this season.)

Keep in mind that I'm not a particularly great player. My mechanics are meh at best. And I did what you did in a fourth of the games.

The point I'm trying to make is you blaming and criticising your team is a wee bit hypocritical. If you focused on your own mistakes rather than others you'd probably be diamond by now.

But go ahead and keep whining about your team. You'll probably peak around platinum after another 1,000 games and never understand why you can't climb any higher.
