The Difficulties of Tahm Support

People simply don't know how to play with a Tahm support, and some people are really toxic towards Tahm players. Here are some examples:

  1. Everybody instalocks their roles in Champ Select. Left with support, I picked Tahm Kench. Instantly I'm flooded with things like "stop trolling" "pick a reall support" and "tahm isn't in the meta, pick janna" and stuff like that.

  2. I ward up the entire river with my Sightstone. Bot lane gets ganked unsuccessfully by the enemy jungler. I see, on the map, that the enemy jungler, along with the support, is going mid lane, through the river. I ping careful to the midlane to back off, but he stays and farms, leading to his death. After he dies, he's says: "wtf bot no mia gg" and I respond "Do you have zero map awareness? I pinged multiple times, and I even warded the whole river," in which he responds "stfu noob tahm, you're 1/2 (not counting my 5 assists)."

  3. While me and my ADC are taking bot tower, I tell her "I'm going to ult to dragon next, Ekko (our jungler) get ready." After we take bot tower, I ult to dragon. And my ADC literally walks the entire way to dragon even when I gave her prior warning and pinged her.

  4. I tell my teammates: If I eat you, don't hold rightclick or press any buttons, or it makes me spit you out after one second, rather than six seconds. Five seconds later: Garen gets caught 1 v 5 , and I flash in to swallow him (I'm tankier than this Garen... and I do more damage)... then I spit him out after one second and he dies. Afterwards, he's all like "wtf tahm why you spit me out, you f*cking noob". Ignoring what I said in chat five seconds ago.

  5. I tell my Garen to stop trying to 1 v 5, that he's not tanky enough, nor does he deal enough damage. He says "stfu tahm your so bad, go uninstall" (For reference, Garen is 5/7/7, and I'm 7/5/14). However, because I'm not a douchebag, I go in and swallow him in order to save him... and he comes right back out one second later.

  6. I tell my team to group, and not go in one by one while the other team is doing baron. Guess what happens? Afterwards, since I'm the only one left alive, my team flames at me for not doing anything. After that, of course, the game ended.

What's worse about this occurrence was that this is a Gold MMR game, and I'm pretty sure people stop doing these things back in Silver 4 (not that I've ever been there). I got an S+ in champion mastery after this game, so I'm pretty sure that this wasn't my fault.

Why do people prejudge a person by the champion they are playing? I'm sure that if I had played Janna support, my team would actually listen to me. Also, why does everyone believe that all Tahm Kenches are trolls? It really amazes me how oblivious people are nowadays, blaming others for their mistakes. In every game I've played as Tahm Kench, I'm always the scapegoat for my team's failures, even if (in another game) I'm 24/10/17, and actively carrying the team.

For some reason, people tend to be jealous of Tahm's flabulousness.

I know the feeling, partner. Every time I've tried to Tahm in ranked, people would leave in queue regardless of how well our team matched together. Because a lot of people treat Bard and Tahm like they should Trundle. He's the only real troll champ around here.

So many people click themselves out of devour then get mad for not saving them >_<

Honestly thats the thing i dislike most about the League community, is their constant preaching of the meta like its the freaking only way to play this game. If it isnt in the meta, it shouldnt be touched ever, because the pro's are all gods of league, and clearly know everything about the game, and dont have things like favorite champions and items that they happen to build.

As a Janna main, if you picked her, they'd have bitched 'this janna no peel gg no re', because no amount of peel can circumvent such stupidity perpetuated by some of these incorrigible morons who think dying 1 v 5 and going 'lel took 5' in /all is the way to win a game.
