um my friend got banned for breaking the meta
my friend saw a guide on abil power rengar and tried it and failed then got banned for playing ap rengar mid wtf are we forced to play the freakin meta?

SorasMemories4 votesI highly doubt he got banned for breaking the meta. Now, if he did really poorly that game, he might have been reported for that, but Riot does not ban someone for a bad game. If he got banned, then he received an email saying why. He might just not want to tell you the real reason...
Fauxy Shadow1 votesthat is not entirely true. I just had one of my accounts suspended for 2 weeks because i was playing Noc mid. They called it "assisting the enemy team" excessive reports. Regardless of how i did. BTW that particular account was bronze elo. They will report you for not going meta EVERY game.
