I play Riven and I don't feel she needs any buffs unless they nerf her raw power. I don't like this update, I liked her the way she was before because to utilize her burst you had to AA between Qs.

I like the idea. Make Riven harder to play, reward her for playing better. She may be getting buffed in Diamond but she'll disappear in my elo, so that's all I need.

Because instead of your Wind Slash doing piss for damage against full health targets, it will still chunk them for a crap ton regardless of their health.
Sire Hippington1 votesor, instead off geting a nice execute on aoe, you can't reach enemies for a couple of pasive procs and your ult deals piss-damage anyway.
it's not that easy to get off those passive procs, especially in a teamfight. The two strongest situation for riven currently are bursting squishys 1v1 vi animation canceling, which is nerfed rather than buffed as she won't have 3 passivestacks after all is done, but 1, and her ult will be less potent as an execute, since she won't have more than 2-3 passive stacks in that time.
Another situation often seen is a riven dashing in with 3 fast Qs and a ult for cleanup, which again deals less dmage now as you won't have blade stacks...
I'm not a riven main, nor do i really like faceing the current riven, but i have enough experience on and vs her to see that this is overall a nerf, and everyone who does think it'S a buff probably nerver really played her. Not saying it's a huge nerf, but certainly not a buff.

BattleBalladeer1 votesI don't think that they removed animation cancelling, they just made it more like a Sheen or Taric passive because it has to be used after 1 spell rather than racking up a bunch of stacks to unload.
If you can still animation cancel (and it looks like you can) it will be just as good as it was before if your Edge is built, so its not really a nerf or buff there.

Sire Hippington1 votesit is a nerf to animationcanceling, atleast vs more tanky enmies with a brain, currently you can make use off all passive procs as they stack, but on PBE, you'l loose out on atleast 2 procs that way. squishys die usually befor you can use all procs anyway, so not much change, but the likes of xin can actually fight back and win the all in if you try that now...

There hasn't been any word on it. Since every player in PBE is mainly form Silver to Gold, snowbally games happen a lot more often.

Ekko is my main, and he is FUN to play. Takes a bit more skill than Riven, but none the less fun despite being one shotted often, even if you're fed as hell unless you go tank.
With that said, I been enjoying the hell out of Volibear and just destroying anyone who tops against me, it's laughable when you throw them behind you, and they hopelessly try to go around you to get back to their turret giving you some auto attacks to proc your W.
