Why do these kind of people exist in league?

So last game had a malz mid, that just insisted on split pushing top or bot after lane phase. The enemy obviously killed him over and over again, and then proceeded to 5vs4 us at towers, objectives, camps, you name it. Then the enemy secured baron after malz died to them again, because we couldn't really contest it 4vs5.

At that point our adc dced, or maybe rage quited, and then the enemy team went 5 man mid with baron buff. Guess what malz did? You guessed right! He went to split push top lane as the 5 man enemy team with baron buff fought the 3 of us trying to defend mid, killed us, ate our tower, inhibs, and nexus. GG WP.

Why the hell do people insist on doing this when they're not playing a split pushing champs that have great split pushing power and great escapes? For example, I remember seeing a leona support before trying to split pushing all game after lane phase. She moved exactly 5 centimeters in 5 minutes. She stayed bot lane for all of 20 minutes before the game ended by herself after lane phrase split pushing.

Then we have the ADC split pushers you will see every other game, that dies to the enemy jungler over and over and over and over and over again as they proceed to split push across the river every time. But oh hey, it's not split pushing, they're just farming for items. If you're doing it to farm for items at least have the decency to do it mid where your team can get to you faster, instead of top or bot, where you get assassinated over and over again, and no one can reach you in time to help.

I often see players split-push when they want the game to end already. This usually happens with the players who went 1-5 or something during the laning phase, or those that just dislike their team(ADCs often do this when their support tilts &/or flames them). It's usually just soft-inting that hides under the facade of being a terrible tactic.

It takes less effort to play to lose then to play to win. Glory hound players roll over any time their score is bad despite the fact the only metric that matters is whos nexus goes BOOM!

It's behavior to evade a punishment. I would call it Soft afking. Some might honestly think I need farm to get x power spike! But most the time its some one who wrote the match off. Imo.
