Yi's Q should not make him invulnerable
I think it's just stupid that if Yi Q's you, there's literally NOTHING you can do to him in that time period. The only counter play to it is Zonyas.

It doesn't make him invulnerable; it makes him untargetable.
He still takes damage from pre-applied DoT abilities like Ignite, Torment, Malefic Visions, and red buff.
Has an instant CC bear of death and a charged stun she can keep indefinitely.
Has more hops than E. Aster Bunnymud from fuckin Rise of the Guardians
Can pretty much pentakill and heal back to full health with his spin attack whatever-spell-it-is.
People still gank because he's "out of mana"
Life isn't fair.
PS: This is sarcasm. I think that Yi isn't nearly as aggrivating to fight compared to these above, considering I just polymorph him as Lulu and destroy him xD

If you hard cc him before he uses it then you're good
Yi can never be allowed to be strong. His kit allows for too much with too little, and the only reasonable way to balance him would be to give him less means of mitigating the damage he takes. Why? Because it will never, ever be comparable to the damage he puts out. Ever. And this is what he does, right? Yi does damage, that makes sense.
At the very least, Q does not need a cooldown reduction mechanic.
its already an unmistakable part of his kit and master yi with out it would not much be master yi. if anything they can stop the scaleing of true damage on his active E riot really does a shitty job of manageing true damage
I wish it worked similar to Vlad's puddle escape. Where if I target him and he does it, my stun doesn't automatically go on cooldown.
The amount of times I've messed up my only stun (cause Pantheon's W is on a longer cooldown than Yi's Q I believe) and died before I could do it again just irks me. I need to time it better, but I still hate Alpha strike.

He is a champion that relies on auto attacks, that small second of safety (being able to avoid cc / damage) is the only way he could ever hope to be viable.
When a Yi alpha's one of your key abilities (cc), you were out played (as much as I hate saying that). When to alpha and not to alpha is basically all that distinguishes average, good and great Yi players.
