How to Play Taric Support in S6
Hello Everyone I know Taric is an underused and unappreciated champion but with the new support item the Eyes.
This allows supports to build an extra item if they so choose by combining the starting item with the Sightstone, also support items were buffed to give more income.
Why am I mentioning this well this allows Taric to shine once again in the new meta especially with the adc going wild as well from their buffs.
Lets go over Taric he's what you may call a Glass Tank he can soak up a lot of Ad damage very well do to his w giving bonus armor to him and his allies but Magic damage can counter him if you don't have much Mr. This means Taric Can tank champions who would build a lot of ad so Trynd Yas and every adc with probably the exception of Corki and Vayne and any other one that does Ap damage.
Taric's damage also goes up with armor do to his w scalling although its not much damage but what makes him useful is that he can give armor to his allies.
Here is the Mastery's I like to use http://imgur.com/OC9bcHZ Meditation so I don't run out of mana as quick, Intelligence so I can spam my ability's more, Windspeaker so my heal heal's a lot to my ally's, Unyielding for more Armor/ Magic Resistance, and Runic Armor so I can heal myself more when I go to heal my ally. You can swap these out but this is what I like to use.
So how would you play Taric.
Start with either
or
, although I prefer the coin since the update allows you to get a ton of money off your adc if you are with
him when he starts to farm when fully upgraded. Eventually upgrade the starting item to the eyestone of your choice and begin building tanky. From here build whatever you need for the situation but I like to build
for more Movement speed and damage with the auto enhance and it also has a slow with a bunch of hp, but you could also follow it up or replace with a
for the cdr which is huge on Taric since it allows you to spam your abilities more with your passive, mana so you will never run out and armor which Taric loves. Consider buying a
if they auto a lot or get a
if they have some magic damage and so you can heal yourself even more. As a last item either get more armor, Health or get some sort of Ad, Nobody will ever expect the
.
How to lane with Taric Start with w to make your adc Tankier or Heal if he gets hit a lot if they have the potential to get a kill level one try starting e Although for the mostpar you are gonna pick Taric with a passive adc so they can farm and both of you can be terrors Midgame. I usually Max W first for the bonus armor then Heal then stun for last. Level One to Five you are not much help not gonna lie you don't have much cc besides your e and long cooldowns but that doesn't mean you are useless. You have a heal that's somewhat powerful early on thanks to the mastery Windspeaker if you have it, your W will negate a small portion of damage your adc would normally take and your E will DAZZLE the enemy allowing you to get a few potshots in, Your cooldown issue can be managed by attacking something after using a spell usually a minion if you heal spam just try not to take any cs unless you went Relic. At Level 6 you get Tarics ult and in a duo lane this thing can be very powerful since it boosts ad and Ap by 30 for every ally nearby at rank one when active and this can tear through an enemy adc if you catch them especially if a Jungler comes to gank and it has a decent base damage, Also activate this when you siege a tower the extra ad will allow your adc to tear it to shreds if nobody is around to stop you and the cooldown is short anyway spam it whenever needed.
Taric In Teamfights Basically cc the highest priority target with your e Ult and nuke them with the Taric combo of e auto r auto w auto heal auto w auto e auto etc, this is why you grab as much cdr as possible, passive op. Heal anyone on your team who may be low on health during the fight as well.
That's it for the guide got anything to add write them down in the comments and remember.
