Why do you insist on taking good ap champions or any champion for that matter and making their kit hybrid. Shaco, go full ap you're fucked. Go full ad, still fucked. Malzahar nerf his ap abilities give him a w thats useless in teamfights unless youre standing on the enemy then say its a rework and that its a buff cause now he can be spammed in the jungle. Way to fuck up the only aspect of a champion that I liked riot. I had one champion that was balanced and still at the same time strong enough and you nerfed his abilities gave him an ability that was better off as a passive and called it better. What a waste of 300 games. I doubt he will be worth playing midlane as he was weak on squishies with 4 items. The only part of his kit that kills now is his w which as I said means you have to be right up the enemies asshole. Thanks riot.

My point was why are they making every champion a hybrid scaling. Is zed going to get ap scaling next time they nerf or rework him? He shouldn't cause thats retarded hes an ad assasin. They shouldn't be altering kits to the point where you have to think twice about building ap on a mage champion.

It's actually quite the opposite, they remove the possibility of building other things when reworking things. Like Skarner, Irelia, Miss Fortune and so on.

Also, what IS the champion that you're talking about?

errr, shaco doesn't build hybrid (or shouldn't anyways).

As for Malzahar, I haven't played the new patch yet. Don't you think it's a bit rash to be so judging and critical when it hasn't even been out for a day?

He's been out for a while on PBE. I watched countless gameplays and could even tell from his general gameplay he looked weak aside from his "amazing" w. I just played him for a few games and honestly Im extremely sad they nerfed the first champion I took my time learning and playing heavily. He can't melt towers anymore if played correctly. AD is useless on him it doesn't scale as well as the combined ad w plus AP does. They made his voidlings purely about killing champions somethine lol in general shouldn't be about. He was an objective controlling mage who when fed could 1 shot a good amount of champs with a consistent qwer voidling combo.

Even with lack of damage, he will kill any squishy champ if ult is uninterupted. (Coming from a Malz Main)

Malz wasn't really balanced before.. He nuked anyone in his lane, built suedo-tanky, and had a lock-down silence with massive damage. He's more balanced now than he was before

It's extremely easy to bully malzahar if you play it right. He has no escapes, low mana pool until he builds his first item. Easy to push him under tower or force him to go oom.

Whereas before he was super punishing early and just kept that into late game. They changed him to make him feel less oppressive. And you can bully anyone if you play it right. You can punish zed if you play it right.
