How long until I get demoted?

Well, after playing my provisional games, I got placed in Bronze 1 and ended climbing to Silver 5. I climbed up to about 50 something lp, gained 25ish lp in Bronze 1 and Silver 5, and was 20/18 in ranked. Im now on a 7 game losing streak, at 0 lp for 3-4 of these games. I'm not sure how many games I need to lose to get demoted to Bronze 1?

Note: I feel like I do good in most of my games, 1 or 2 that were some what bad, but compared to the rest of the team, I did quite good. Don't worry about losing and getting demoted. Focus on winning and moving up. It looks like you did the right thing in that the entirety of your losing streak was over the course of a few days, as opposed to losing a bunch on one day and not calling it quits. You might want to try out some different champs. Maybe lay off the Zilean until you get to a higher MMR. Morg, Thresh, Blitz, and Ali are decent supps for climbing. For jungle malphite, the path I usually take is as follows: item 1402 (Runich Echoes) , item 3047 or item 3009 , item 3068 , and the rest depends on how AP,AD, and AS heavy the other team is. Other items that work well are: item 3075 , item 3110 , item 3025 , item 3102 , item 3742 and item 3190 if your support isn't taking it.

It takes a long time I'm pretty sure. Like your MMR would have to be that of Bronze 5 to fall out of silver. If I'm wrong, correct me, but you should be good.

I think it takes quite a bit at least.

If pretty much all the other people in your game are around B3-B2 then you might have an issue soon if they are all silver then your mmr should still be pretty okai

I have never dropped from V to I below so I do not know specifically. It should be pretty hard to drop if you have not had a really long history of losses though like talking dropping and dropping and dropping

I know someone that dropped from Plat to Gold and was playing with/in Gold 3 MMR, so

Look at your enemy, if you hit bronze 4/5 MMR, that is when you start having the potential to be demoted. So it will take awhile, you need a good 30-40 games at 0 lp.

Tried the Master Yi, did good, but lost again. I think my Win/Loss ratio is lost for ever... 20/26
