Crit Miss Fortune feels meh, any tips?

I really want to get into miss fortune, i even bought the new skin. However since Duskblade nerf i haven't seen many building lethality and i personally don't think its that great after nerf either. So i've been using crit but it just feels really bad. Here's why i think that:

Ult doesn't do nearly as much damage as pre nerf lethality build, and it doesn't feel as impactful
Her autoes do more damage now but much less burst to squishies. before i would just 3 shot some squishy kid and then fight would break out and my ult would decimate rest of the team. Now i just feel like a shitty version of a auto adc but with a good ult(that doesn't cut it though
It feels like a lot of her damage was shifted to her autoes from ult but to me i always only picked her for the ult.

Ultimately, im just trying to understand how or why to play her now and if its even worth it. I usually play hyper carries like vayne and kai sa and more auto based adcs like cait or trist.

At this point i think i will only be picking her into teams she synergies really well with like Jarvan or Wukong. But in solo q it seems like no one likes to pick hard engage cc anymore

Don't listen to these clowns. I tells you what you do. Ya grabs yer Q, you max yer E, ya build AP. It's that simple. I want to see full Magic Pen on that bitch, and a Liandries. Then you get Lich bane, and the last item doesn't matter. Get a fucking Rabbadon's Deathcap for all I care. Sit on that one needlessly large rod for a good 8 minutes before finally maxing it. After you do that, it is your DUTY to find somebody, bait out their flash with your stupid E damage, and then come back later to hit them with your E again, and then rain that fucking R on them while they're tasting your E. You'll be moderately okay with how much damage you do. wink.exe

Don't go crit based, you are far better off going lethality based as MF.

Playing crit MF feels like garbage. It feels like you don't do any damage compared to lethality.

Which makes me sad, because crit feels like it should be fun to play, but it's just not.

Focus on bullying your lane opponent off the farm with your Q's. If you're good at landing them, rush an infinity edge for the bonus passthrough damage. Try to work on freezing the lane, and keep your lane opponent from getting any. Then you don't have to be the best ADC in the game because you will be the only ADC in the game by that point. I usually take Aery for the extra poke damage.

It depends on your build but its really good in the mid to late game unlike the Lethality build that is good early to mid game.

item 3094 is a good item on her because it has nice synergy with her q and pairs nicely with item 3508 because of the crit that grants CDR.

item 3031 is a must because of the bounce crit damage and will give a nice fat damage(As nice as her pair of "guns") if you kill a minion that will hit a champion. also will melt your enemies if you ult them, be sure to get some armor pen though.

Speaking of which, please dont buy any item 3134 line because it will fall off hard as the game passes by, your better off getting item 3035 line / item 3071 to negate their armor while ulting(It will melt them in the process).

item 3508 she has massive mana problems and the crits is great for mana regen, and like i said before CDR is important.

Trust me on this because I love Sarah Fortune MissFortune and her Gun Goddess skin is really nice overall. Crit fortune is the true way to go.[sg-miss-fortune]

item 3508 into either item 3031 / item 3094 and then picking up the other item seems to be one of her highest statistical winrate options for crit builds, coming in at 61% give or take.

In terms of skill order, max Q first, W second, and E third.
