The reason DQ has lowered toxicity

Trios/Quads/Fives don't report eachother.

Simple.

Higher percentage of players DQ'ing = Lower percentage of total players getting reported = 'lower toxicity'

When in actuality all it means is that** you** get reported 4 times for not being a little bitch and bending to DQ'ers will instead of the SoloQ standard of everyone getting reported 4x because players are salty for losing

Riot, your statistics are about as reliable as a pear with downs syndrome

Yes that is right but tbh....ive gotten to the point were i actually started reporting people in my premades lol. Just because you are in a premade with me will not save you from a report if you truly need one. People who tell other people you are reporting them for being toxic but then do not report people in their premades when they are being toxic to other people are just fake people with no backbone.

hm i know riot gave us a mute button for a reason so no my friend your argument there is not valid at all. if you see someone toxic in game just mute.

That may be part of the reason, but I do think people getting the roles and champs they want the majority of the time helps as well. I remember in the old queue the biggest reason people went on troll fests was because they didn't get to play what they wanted or where they wanted.

I personally never get reported by premades because I do this crazy thing - I apologize when I have a bad game. I know what I'm capable of and how good I can be when I have it all rolling together. But I'm also a Silver and do sometimes just have flat out bad games. When this happens I apologize to my team and, in this other crazy reaction, they usually accept it and just try to finish out best they can. Weird.

That just reduces reports, but not the actual toxicity in league. Except it does because friend don't flame friends either...

1 report counts the same as 4 reports, thus toxicity levels would remain the same so long as the solo players were still reporting toxic premades.

Now, an argument could be made that premades are complaining about their teammates over voice chat (rather than rant about it in chat), but that's not exactly the argument you're making, is it? Even that reasoning wouldn't explain why Toxicity dropped below Normal game levels.
