What are some examples of Lee Sin's counterplay?

So I see Lee Sin hate threads on the boards more often than I actually see him in my games. The counterargument to these threads is always some variation of "just outplay him/he has plenty of counterplay". With that in mind, and with the end goal of improving the quality of play in League, I figured I'd ask for some examples of counterplaying Lee Sin so that we could learn from them. DON'T just say "CC him"! That is not helpful for anyone. Not every champion has CC and not every form of CC is useful against him (I challenge you to stop a Lee Sin with a slow). The idea is to get specific examples of how different champions in various roles can survive against or kill Lee in a fight.

The only thing keeping needs is a base MS nerf, that's it, he has 2 dashes, soft CC (slows) and hard CC, he doesn't need 355 MS, heck he could have 0 MS and he would still be able to get around the jungle relatively well

Put him at 340 MS and he will be balanced in the terms of his mobility, buff his shield base values by 30 at each rank and he will be in a good spot

Learn his patters and use that to dodge his skillshots.

I really don't have the energy to explain all of it lol. Suffice to say that warding, playing point and click cc champs and grouping early all effectively shut him down.
