Why is trying to play ranked so absolutely frustrating.

It feels like I'm playing slots on who my team mates are, if they actually pick something they can play, and how good they are. It's just tilting to constantly get to 90-99 lp and be sent back down due to afk team mates, people feeding their lane 5 kills in the first 10 minutes, or just making extremely aggressive plays either by themselves or in groups even when we're behind.

I'm honestly just hoping someone has a secret to climbing or at least making it to a series, because at this point it feels more like a chore to try and play this game than a form of entertainment. I'm not the perfect player, but I do rather well in the top lane and try my hardest when I get mid as my second role. My MMR is starting to tank even when I still have ok stats. So can someone PLEASE show me the light or give me some wisdom as to how I'm supposed to combat these problems that feel completely out of my own control.

Get a duo man. For a year I was angry to myself that I can't carry my mates and can't climb. Then I found a guy who has the same feeling. We climbed so fast (gold1 to diamond4) in a month. Eventually we stuck in Dia3-4 but it was still okay to not stuck in gold.

Because Riot doesnt have the slightest clue how to design a ranked system, doesnt realize you cant have teams of 5 and solo queue people in the same queue without it becoming even more unfair, the new champ select makes high elo queue times retarded long so they filter down using smurf accounts breaking the lower elos forcing the lower elos to smurf even lower completely screwing any reminance of a balanced system, and lastly, because they have no idea how to balance anything else in their game hence the huge patches almost every month.

dont play rank late at night.. not really because of the pros or really good players.. but because drunk drugged people log on after 10 pm east coast time..

just seems like around the time people with drug hints in their name and every now and then you get the .. "sorry i am drunk" comment.. play away from these hours.

because of DQ .. you will get 1-2 drunk stoned person on your team after a certain hour.. some people play better in that condition.. most dont, but perceive themselves as actually good in that state of mind.

For Top lane, try to play someone that is tanky and has good CC. I have played Sion since coming back to Season 6, climbed from Bronze 5 to Gold 3. Why? Because no one understands how powerful he can be, especially since he has a lot of CC cause the way I build him I get 40% CDR on him. I queue for jungle as well cause I usaully can play someone tanky or just play Sion. Not many people go up against or play as Sion thus you have the edge especially if you know and see how his Q works. And as well with Sion, I tend to gank other lanes by ganking from going down the lane, it usually only works once or twice but eh, it helps get your lanes ahead if you pull it off.
