Idea to stop Early Game Jungle Poaching (Mostly in Competitive)
So I have been noticing that Riot really, really does not like laners poaching the jungle early on. Mostly this is a high-level/competitive problem but it seems that Riot really doesn't like it as shown with the reduction of gold that large monsters give, compensated by bonus gold with the
, and trials on the PBE to give the Gromp and Krugs they buffs they give until you smite them away. However, I think the real reason that anyone would poach the early jungle is the fact that clearing any jungle gives a champ level 2 if no sharing of experience happened. Therefore I propose that all jungle monsters give 50% experience to all champions without
until 2 mins game time scaling up to 100% at 7 minutes.
This will push junglers to take smite, which I think is the way Riot wants to go with the season 5 jungle items. The scaling is there so that the mid-laner doesn't suffer in experience when they give the 7 min blue buff over. This will really affect lane swaps, as it will starve out the top laner more, but it happen for both teams so it could add some new wrinkles in strategy if you really want to starve the enemy top laner out.
Any thoughts or comments?
