Riot, why is there no AP Qss item?

It would be great for build diversity for there to be an AP item Qss builds into but currently one doesn't exist(All it builds into is Mercurial Scimitar). It leads to awkward build paths like how yesterday C9 Jensen had to build Mercurial Scimitar on Ryze (Which has only AP scaling) vs IMAY. It just seems silly. Can you explain why this item doesn't exist?

Same reason there's no AD Zhonya's item. Itemization paths between different stat types will never be the same, nor should they be, considering their playstyles are VASTLY different.

because qss was designed for ad's to survive the cc from mages holy shit why is this a question
