Becoming "Rusty"

How long do you think it takes to become "rusty." I want to take a week or two break to just focus on other things in my life and also watch all the worlds games of course, but realistically how rusty do you think that will make me. I am a Draven one trick and I have been playing consistantly and I feel like i am getting better I just don't want to leave come back and have to play only to become just as good. The plan was to tackle a break then play a sheit ton during October, break from during pre-season then come back, but I don't want to go in to ranked all rusty n' stuff. What should I do so I don't deteriate my skills, but also get a break. I was thinking play a game a day, but I don't know if that's good enough or maybe I should just stop cold turkey. Please give me advice and Thank you.

It depends on a lot of stuff. Like how good your muscle memory is and how long you have been playing as well as the level you play at. Over all I don't think a short break would effect you that much. though I wouldn't vanish for a year unless you have godly muscle memory.

What this guy said. It depends on the person and elements about them, like genetics, that you can't simply train.

Personally, I'm the kind of person who has a unique intuitive memory that remembers the feeling of something. It allows me to rebound very quickly from that state of rust. I did it with League after a half-year hiatus, remastering the feeling within a single day, despite having over 50 different mains.
