"We're unable to log you in because you may be offline." this is the message I see when I am trying to log into my account. I am currently in a game but had to quit out of league because it was stuck on a black screen. I tried to log back on and this is the message I see. Sorry teamates, but I guess you'll have to remake or 4v5. Riot wtf is going on yesterday I had 200 ping and it wasent on my end now I can't log in to play my game. Fix your s**t.

he actual statement 'we are unable to log you in because you may be offline" its..pretty dumb......well if im trying to log in of course im offline THATS WHY IM TRYING TO LOG IN!

If you happen to crash out or run into this issue for some reason, there is a workaround you can use in the interim:

Go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config Open "LeagueClientSettings.yaml" with notepad Find the line: gameflow-patcher-lock:

Delete this whole line Save the file, restart your LoL Client - and you should be able to log in again.

hasn't their automated system banned players for manually editing files before?

Hm.. Maybe more "important" files, but I dont think this is a problem. I edited a config file almost a year ago to bind my mastery emote to other keys and I didnt get banned yet.

I don't have this "LeagueClientSettings" file, so what should I do now? I can't play the game anymore, lol. I think the only way I can play again is to wait for the next patch..

If only they put out some kind of solution out visible to all players. They could even make it grab attention by having an exclamation point as the logo, and even color it some attention grabbing color like yellow. If only...

regardless there has been more issues with the game/client since the new client than i have ever seen in the 5 years of me playing. they ruined something that was fine and continue to do so

I had 3800 ping the other night, rebooted my router.. 59 ping for a few minutes then bam, 3800 ping again.

Confirmed it was definitely not my local network or internet in general, pings to many other websites seemed normal. I have no idea why a router reboot would change it (maybe it was just unrelated chance).

half the people in one if my game yesteraday had the game freezed for a few minute before it got normal, and when I looked at the replay, no one was actually disconnected. It was very weird.
