The New Raka Heal Is Now Untouchable

Ok so for anyone that didn't check the 6.5 patch notes the heal for herself on her W was switched to her Q and made a HoT (heal over time) and it can now be replicated to a target of her W heal if she currently has the HoT and depending on how much ap shes built can add up to about 50-125 of an extra heal on top of her monstrously powerful and spammable W.

Unless you have extremely organized focus you should pretty much resign yourself to the fact that her heal target isn't going down... AND COWER BEFORE THE HEAL ALMIGHTY!! FOR IT IS TRULY ETERNAL!

To be fair, the AP ratio and base values on her W were nerfed to make up for the HoT. She's weaker in burst situations now.

the only disgusting part of about the rewoek of this disgusting champ is that her q now slows everyone in range by 45% at rank 1.

It's not really a buff to her ally healing. Yeah the healing over time is nice but you have to look at her cooldowns. Her Q heal over time does 110 over 5 seconds to the target, and the heal on her W was nerfed by 40, with a 2 second cooldown.

So your ally is being focused, you hit a Q on your enemy and you use W three times on your ally in 5 seconds. Your ally gains 110 health over time that they wouldn't have got before but they lose 120 health from W that they would have got in the past. Overall they gain less health than they did in the past.

Of course that's not the whole story. Your ally now gains movement speed when running away from enemies, which is a major plus, but Soraka herself is a lot more vulnerable herself now because she has no burst self-heals outside of ult. She gets movement speed when running away too though. Lots to consider.
