Hey Riot, what will Taric be able to do after your done with his VU

Riot said a while back that not only will Taric get a VU, but also a couple of tweaks to his kit. So will Taric be able to go top or jungle like Alistar? Or will Taric stay a "only support" champion? Would love to hear from the mighty Rito about this. At least give me (and the rest of the community) the satisfaction of knowing a semi-correct path of which direction the Gem Knight will be going in terms of role and gameplay(If that is even possible at this time).
