Pre -Death Lag/ Freeze Help

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the death recap in the game options? Everytime I'm about to die, I lag out extremely hard. I'm currently looking for a solution to stop the pre-death freeze. I believe the lag is tied to the death recap calculating during fight.
