Why do people have multiple accounts?

I’m not talking high elo players who have smurf accounts. I get that. But why do regular non high ranked people have multiple accounts? Silver players aren’t really smurfing as silvers...

Lots of people choose to refuse to follow the basic rules Riot lays down, get accounts banned and need a new one.

What body above me said.

That, or they want to play against noobs so that they can decimate their asses, only be paired with other bad players, not be nearly as good at the game as they think they are, and lose against those noobs anyway, all while announcing to their team that they're in gold.

There are people that likes to feel superior by beating players that are new? They keep doing that till they reach 30. One of the reasons. I'm used to be like that back in season 4 because I feel like the players just so much more advance in lv 30 so I can't perform well so I made a new account to practice in beginner level to relearn.

I do it to get new heroes faster. More capsules in a couple games where not everyone is invading your jungle in blind pick versus fifty games of non-stop outplaying and a 50% chance to win.

I originally did it because I used to play Dominion exclusively and eventually my queue times would get tediously high. Therefore, I would just start over from scratch and climb my way up again, while experimenting with random stuff along the way. Then I wanted to branch out and see how other servers played Dominion and see if I could climb there as well. Next thing I knew, I had like 5-6 accounts.
