Melee champs need buffs, if ya wont nerf lux make melee have an advantage over ranged so its fair

make an added bonus to all items for melee only Make them have more stats, Free second wind or something to prevent abuse from quinn top or teemo or some vayne top. This i believe will be time saving and will not require nerfing or reworking 60 or so champs.(LuL) Simply make melee's get a universal benefit they get kited by mages, ADCs, and Ranged fighters and it isn't even fair when they close the gap since they pretty much do the same(or less) damage but by then lux would have already chunked 90% of my hp and she is 1000+ range or vayne would have got me to 100 hp.

you can make a shield melee's can receive if they are 500+ range away to help stop kiting abuse that can't be countered.

They have advantages in nearly every category.

They're faster, tankier, have stronger abilities, deal more damage, break more rules, and just have better overall stats.

However, in a league where everything vaporizes in less than a second, a range buffer is the strongest advantage you can have.

What melee really needs is to have a more powerful summoner 1 like a 2 or 3 second CC immunity instead of the increase in tenacity which currently does nothing for them.

CC is only a problem because tenacity is a worthless stat and it disproportionately affects melee. Give them an option against it and the issues of melee feeling like shit will disappear.

Holy fuck i thought only your first post about mages was bad reply to 1st post: learn to dodge the 1 cc they have if its so cancer, if a champion can land their skill shots, that means they deserve to hit you with the rest of the burst that follows, adapt to it. i feel like its hashinshin making these posts complaining cause he cant change the way he plays the game.

as for this one, alot of ranged champions don't have nearly as much gap closing or mobility as melee ones do, so if you are playing a bruiser or tank, you can tend to stick to one pretty damn nicely, or right out kill them as an assassin, all champions have weaknesses and strengths, and both your posts sort of just point out that you as a player CANNOT for any reason play around any of it. don't like being kited? play someone with 50 dashes, dont like being bursted? play a tankier pick, or build appropriately, or walk to the left or right when you see the animation go off. they are called SKILL shots for a reason, cause they cant just point and click them, they need to outplay you and know which way you are going to walk to hit you. Melee champions dont need help fighting ranged champions. you need help fighting ranged champions. and my very few tips in this little comment can help you with that! so instead of making not one but 2 posts both being downvoted, go on youtube, and figure out how to play around it like every other player does, you will improve so much better. or because they both have lux in it and you hate lux so much, cause a champion with 0 mobility and 1 short cc ability destroys you so hard, ban her! and dont use the fact of "ugh well zoe will not be banned then ://// and shes broken" she also has a huge charge up longer cast time cc then lux does! so learn to play around it! Practice is all you need. or play someone who sticks to people, pick people who stop ranged attacks like yasuo, or can take the hits and dodge things like Maokai, or maybe to fit how you have made it seem like how you might play, Pick mundo and walk at them with a spirit visage! because he literally scales with bonus MR and MR items synergize very well with his super healing kit, and being a tank with built in tenacity, you can walk into as many skillshots by lux,zoe, and ahri (your examples) as you want, and not give a damn :D

but please, read what you make posts for, cause instead of takign the time to write it, you can just as easily google simple but effective ways of playing around them, and learning a better matchup.

orrrrrr you cna just hashinshin it and walk at them and stay at the level of play you are at. either way, i personally dont care, but i LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! the "i cant play around it so its broken and should be nerfed" posts, cause there is SOOOOOO many of them. Vayne

Melee champs are worse than ranged? What? Almost every ranged champ fails against melee champs in terms of damage vs damage. The only disadvantage melee champs have is getting into the melee, and at this point in the game they have the tools to get in there.

Riot doesn't seem to understand that counter-picking a melee champ with something ranged, is kind of a bitch move that promotes shitty gameplay. Ranged attacks should always be inversely proportional to the damage they do, effectively trading safety for the ability to do damage. Either that, or all ranged attack choices should be shortened across the board, and equalized in distance to every other ranged attack in order to allow actual trades to occur.

Whenever I play against one of these hard match ups in top lane, I tend to rely on 2 things: 1. My own Jungler. 2. Forcing the opponent into making decisions they will regret. For example, I had played a game as Urgot top once against a Teemo. His Q though effective against Urgot doesn't last long. Whenever he did this I would use E to close the gap and then engage with Q, W, and then R if I had it. Q slows, W comes up after being blinded then using E and Q, and hopefully they would be low enough to ult. As for other match ups like Vayne or Quinn, having your jungler top greatly helps since players who do range tops like to over push when they have the advantage. If your stuck in a match up like that, just politely ask your jungler for assistance.

one thing is good when you get hit with a ranged aa it gives you movement speed and tenacity if you melee
