Lux is literally used as a model for 2 champion releases... Riots lack of creativity or prank??

this is a very funny post from one thread that i want to actually thread it lul "Its funny how the last 2 mages I mention are following lux playstyle clones. Zoe: CC thats dumb then has this burst lux: throws Q that also CC in a line then bursts Neeko:'throws' loop that roots then bursts Does Riot have any creativity at all? Or do they just want make melee champion lane like hell while playing dummy trying to farming all game cause afraid to get one shot by the high skill lux q's and her clones so much? Now do you wanna buy lux skins?? Riot make a unique mage that doesn't just fall in these categories

anime little girl
has an annoying cc that is basically the start of her burst <----- cancer
low elo stomper
wierd mechanics
no counterplay outside of ganks for melee champs

How about you come up with an idea yourself.

With 140+ champions it's hard for them to all be completely unique from one another, some are going to have some kind of repeats in some aspects, but all in all I think Riot does a good job keeping even similar things different enough to warrant it. Take the hook champs for example.

Blitzcrank: Almost instant cast time, straight line standard hook, goes through terrain, pulls people towards him he stays where he is. Nautilus: Can pull him towards terrain, but if he collides with an enemy unit he pulls himself and them towards the middle. Thresh: Longer cast time, pulls enemies slowly and can go to them if he pleases. Pyke: Cast time, has the ability to be a melee attack if need be, can pull enemies behind him because the pull is a fixed pull length. (Hope I worded that well enough)

This is an example of 4 champions having fundamentally the same ability but it being so different no one mentions it.

"CC and then burst" describes most mages, not just Lux. It's what burst mages do.

Ahri, Ryze, Xerath, Annie, LeBlanc, and Brand also follow that combo.

If mages didn't have CC, they'd either need more mobility to stay alive or more sustain to win trades, and those are two things that are supposed to be a mage's weakness.

I mean before i could just feel good on banning lux and ahri but now its impossible cause Zoe, and Neeko are 2 more that play exactly the same way and are safe but do 999999999999 damage on melee champs.
