The bad thing about remakes.

So I got into the game, went through the picks phase perfectly. And got into the game. I couldnt get in, on the 5th try I got in.

The game got stuck in the 99 percentile. Then it shuts off and says that the match had ended. It got remade, I was taken as a leaver and got demoted to Silver 3 (First match at 0 LP).

The game should be able to identify if someone is trying to connect. AND NOT ALLOW THE GAME TO BE REMADE DURING THAT TIME. Now im going to enjoy my free loss for not being able to connect in a short timespan of 3-4 minutes.

Dont get me wrong though, I love the remake system, I think its amazing. But get into my shoes, getting a free loss (and demotion) because of a faulty client (I had internet, was watching a video perfectly, so it clearly was the clients fault).

it's your fault, it stands in RIOT's rules. read them.

It's only one game though.

Hey, no its not only one game. I got demoted because of this, so its essentially, atleast 3 games (25 LP then 2 wins in promos).

Someone made a thread about how sometimes their internet goes out and they got a low priority queue and lost LP and they complained about it. A lot of people experience this (I've experienced it a few times too) and a rioter commented on that thread. I replied to the Rioter and asked if there was some way that they could determine whether or not a person left intentionally or not and if they found that the person was having technical issues with their computer/internet if there could be no penalty, or at the very least, a reduced penalty. Unfortunately, they didn't respond to me. IDK how their coding works but I would think there should be some way that they could figure it out. With all these technology we have in this day and age, this seems like something feasible.

Edit: However, if I remember correctly, I think I did read something in the guidelines/rules that if you AFK/DC from a game whether intentionally or unintentionally, it will result in some sort of punishment. I personally think if it's unintentional, we shouldn't be punished (or punished less) because some things are out of our control. Like what if the power goes out in your neighborhood? What if an ISP technician is working on your internet and they need to turn it off (that happened to me once)? What if your computer updates and restarts on its own? We have no control over these types of things.

Im pretty sure that nowadays you can determine if someone is connecting or not and be able to make the game react to that. But im not sure, thats up to riot.

Also I agree on your edit, I personally think that if its about the faulty client, there should be no punishment. Since its riots fault (technically).
