Is it just me or is sivir just a weak adc?

Like outside of aram, I've never seen a sivir impact game all that well, and just can't compare to other adcs. Or is it just me?

She's a utility ADC unlike some flat damage ADC'S, just different usage.

She has pretty easy mechanics but needs macro game knowledge and team play, what lacks the most in SoloQ (and even more in low elos) ? -Exactly macro game and team play.

I personally like Sivir and she was my first M7 champ but it's been a while since I played her.

She takes a bit of game knowledge and good teamwork to make the best use of her. Overall shes fine as is, just some of the current options like Caitlyn Kaisa (Broken as hell) Xayah & Jhin are stronger for the time being.

I play MissFortune a lot lately and i know shes not the strongest but she takes a lot of positioning and reading your opponent's movement to make the best use of her Q bounce damage.

In the end, Sivir is not a bad champion but it never hurts to practice with her and shes kinda fun with a great team fighting ultimate to chase down your enemies... the key is managing your mana and timing your Spell shield to negate any form of CC/Damage that will pose a problem for you.

as side from that shes not the weakest adc in the game right now. the one that takes the cake in terms of a "Weak adc" is Kalista

Lmao I was about to point out ARAM...

Sivir's strength was always her unstoppable ability to push, poke, and simply bully others away from her lane.

With the shifting of ADCs to Burstclickers, and the ADCs which can accomplish this only being certain ones... she has been left behind in the role.

Been tempted to run her top.

Thing is Sivir and Ashe are good examples of healthy ADC's. Unlike most who build one item and then begin to snowball against everyone (Tristana).

As much as I love my two favourite champions Varus and Kai'Sa, but I have to admit that they are a bit too strong.

It's partly because she is a utility ADC.

The primary reason however is that she really isn't allowed to be that strong. She has no niche and so she is only picked when she is statistically better than other ADCs.

If Riot gives her a reason to be picked besides better numbers and doesn't balance her around high elo/e sports than she would feel a lot better to play.

She's not allowed to be strong because of pro play, her ult is game changing for them.

You expected her to do damage with Pizza?

You must be building a stupid amount of CDR on early and putting points in E for a 6 second spell shield.

They are basically saying it's not that you build CDR directly. It just ends up with your items that you get 40% CDR.

Mountain Warden4/18/2018, 10:06:31 PM1 votes

If you need to have your E up so much, you're not positioning her right and over extending. Her early game is meh, the way it should be and I think she's phenomenal when fully built. Having a spell shield to block some bursty abilities is what makes her crazy good. And her W in the middle of team fight wrecks shop. Her Q is take it or leave it. Not bad at snipping champions that are trying to escape with low health but that's about it.

ThePikol4/17/2018, 10:03:20 AM1 votes

No, she just got outshined by other adc that are currently too strong

Sivir is fine you just need a good team to play her in solo queue since her range is so short.

I think she's a solid underdog at the moment. I consider her to be Xayah 1.0, where the Reaver build compliments her ability to clear and harass. She has all the movement speed provided by her ult and passive to keep her at arms length and get in range to pilfer a kill with her Q. Much like Xayah, Sivir's kit was made to create a chaotic teamfight with flurries of ricochets and boosting her teammates to the enemy team to trigger a fight or flight response.

I don't think it's impossible for Sivir to ever be irrelevant when starved out as her kit, mid to late game, will farm every minion wave to 100% to get her gold back up to par with the players who stomped on her. Her ultimate is always a great boon for her and her teammates for either a rescue ops or execution. Whether she nabs a kill or not, the amount of projectiles that scatter everywhere and the ability to buff her allies will net her massive sum of assist gold.

But if you're comparing her to other adc's by stats alone, then you're looking at her the wrong way. She's not a duelist or lane bully, but more of a wave managing marksman. She can choose to freeze the wave to set up an ulti gank, or she can open the floodgates for a devastating push.

She's the queen of pushing, if she can't get ahead in kills then she'll get her power back through farming your towers.

Just you.

Sivir is under the radar right now, but plenty strong with PtA.

Sivir is super safe and can push hard even from behind. You don’t even need more than one point in W to clear 6 minions with one Q + W post BF/Essense. Meaning mid game, you can have your spell shield as low as 6 seconds, which is nuts.
