Malphite QOL

Since Malphite's Q is so mighty slow, can he not lose mana if it doesn't hit a target that died? Because last hitting with it is sometimes really painful as the minion sometimes dies before it reaches it. So I just thought this would be a good fix for new Malph players.

Creates a clarity issue for the opponent. Since they just saw you use your Q, like, 3 times in 3 seconds on 3 different minions that were about to die. Is that the URF Malphite?!

And why are you using Q to CS? That thing has way too abysmal of a cost to do that with. If you are doing a Q max route then you should be using it for harass. Heck, even the E max is only supposed to be used for harass because they both cost a chunk of mana to cast.

From my 4 year experience in this game I'm pretty sure malphite does have a CD on his Q doesn't it? Clarity? The god damn mana pool is right under his health pool. Cut the crap

When against ranged or abusive top laners like ChoGath or Rumble you need the range to cs without losing half your health.

The OP didn't ask for no cooldown. Just no mana lost. You won't get a higher Q rate.

I still don't think it is a good idea though. Do any other abilities do this?

No, just Vi's ult from what i know. Several abilities do it on cast but not during targeted projectile traveling.
