Can you not have the ascended champion jump to the middle platform upon killing the ascendant?

It completely defeats the purpose of stealing the buff from the opposing team at range when you wind up in the middle of the opposing team and almost immediately get killed.

before doing that make the ascendant actually deal damage so people cant 1v1 him
