It's very annoying having a tank with

being able to double a carry's health for 2.5 seconds. ADCs might be able to get through it, but to have it absorb an entire combo from a mage/assassin makes a mage feel like a cc bot and assassins useless.

it is capped by the amount of HP the person has that has locket
making it weaker on squishy champs and stronger on tanks but the trade off is a tank typically is TANKING and in the middle of all the damage where as a soraka wouldnt be
