So, I've played the game since beta, but I've barely ever touched the rank system because of a lot of reasons -- many of which that does not include because I am a "bad" or "inexperienced" player. So because of that, my opinion should automatically be moot based on the color of my border and not my actual experience of the game?
If you think Plat players may not come from a bad game and demand a champion be nerfed or is OP or whatever to rage on the forums, their opinions biased or their judgement clouded because a Skarner went 22/0/8 or something ridiculously high, then you are being silly. Nobody's opinion or understanding of something is better simply because they worked for a shiny border, there's a TON of variance in regard to this. This post is a clear example of someone (you) handing out a ridiculous compromise.
For example, as someone who has main'd Soraka since the beginning of the game (open beta) and played through many of her multiple reworks, I believe I would be more qualified to talk about Soraka as a champion in whole more than you, even if I am unranked. And this just isn't in the support role either. I've played Soraka in all roles -- Mid, Top, Jungle, even as an ADC for the hell of it (it has never worked well by the way), and in various other game modes, such as dominion, 3v3, etc. Soraka is about 95% of my gameplay.
So how about this -- we let people speak their minds as a whole community, and let good ideas be good ideas, and bad ideas be bad ideas, rather than saying every idea posted by a person is worthy of consideration, based on nothing but the color of their border?
