Idea for Kalista's Martial Poise
Kalista is a fantastic ADC, and I love her kit and look and everything about her. She's definitely one of my favorite ADC's to play. However, she has one extremely easy to exploit weakness, and that's slows. All you need on the other team is a character that slows and Kalista becomes useless beyond useless. Her dashes move excruciatingly slow which in turn makes her attack speed drop with it. It is her passive, and I don't like how it can be so easily manipulated like that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that she's bad. If you have QSS or a support with Mikael's, or strong teamwork, then she can be one of the best ADC's. There's a reason she has the highest winrate when matches last for 35-40 minutes, but from my experience that doesn't happen all that much and it basically requires your itemization to be unchangeable instead of situational which is inconvenient, and unfair. Riot buffed Kalista's E recently which was very much appreciated, but I was a bit underwhelmed by it after a few days. Even after the buff she only has a 4% pickrate (as opposed to Lucian's 47%), because the buff to Kalista didn't focus on what it needed to. I feel that what needed to change was how slows effected both her movement speed, and her attack speed. What if Riot made is so that when you're slowed as Kalista, your dashes were shortened significantly, instead of moving the full length slower. So for example, Kalista's dash range is 300 units with tier 1 boots. If she gets slowed by 90% from something then her dash moves her 30 units, OR the same distance as she would have moved without using an auto attack factoring in her movement speed and whatnot into the formula of dash range. A change like this could require a small damage nerf to her E because of the extra autos that you'd get off with it, but balance changes aside, does this seem as good of an idea to you guys as it does to me?
