Summarizing a thread?

So I've called this summarizing a thread because I don't really know what else fits it.

Riot's gone ahead and decreased the damage gained from masteries in PBE because of complains about damage creep.

Whether or not this is good or bad isn't what I want to talk about.

So I've been lurking on the boards for a bit, but what I want to stress is there are complaints about many things. Some people are asking for malzahar reverts, some for syndra reverts, some addressing damage creep. I don't want to call this bad or good, but I'd like to acknowledge this exists.

I don't really know how to say this but there's a lot of information on these boards that I feel could be "clumped up" or "gathered together" in a sense.

Like for instance, suppose a champion is really broken because of a mastery. You'll see complaints about that champion, some people complaining about the mastery, etc.

Or suppose that some jungler grew very strong because of a certain item recently. The item is the culprit but its difficult to say whether or not the jungler or the item is at fault. Maybe I guess this sounds a little bit to Sejuani when cinderhulk was released?

In this case you'll see posts about the jungler and the item. You won't know which ones right until you actually make the change, but...

You might not notice all the posts because of the sheer volume of posts or something. You don't even know your supposed to look for it either...

So what I'm trying to say is maybe there should be a sort of "meta-post" or a "tl;dr of a thread" or something that attempts to summarize most of the thoughts that people think so that there's less of it happening.

I.e. A person makes a post saying "List your complaints with the current patch:" or "What do you think causes damage creep:" and maybe some post is made that summarizes all information previously posted, like "complaints are: A1, A2,..., An".

Now most complaints have a clear place to go (so people would know where to post) and they're all summarized?

This isn't an attempt to be lazy really, its just an attempt to more efficiently gather information. Think of a suggestion box overflowing with suggestions, but there are duplicates of suggestions, the box is split up into 50 mini-boxes and sometimes since the box is so full some suggestions are lost in the process. All this would try to do is make the make the 50 boxes into 1 box and make it less full by removing duplicates.

I don't even know if this is a thing or outlawed or whatever. If it is please ignore this post.

If you think it'll make other's peoples posts less heard, you can link the posts that it summarized or something idk.

You could call it a tl;dr or summary of a thread, idk. Or a comprehensive way to say "ITT". Clearly this can't be applied to every topic on boards but maybe some?

Ideally you'd want to summarize most of the gameplay part of boards but even I think that's a daunting task...

tl;dr: Should we have threads that ask people questions and then there's post in threads that attempts to cover most arguments made in it?

If this is unclear at all I'm sorry.
