So in this game, the akali was toxic as all hell, my MF was afk at the beginning, and TF was threatening to afk. I rotate all over the map helping everyone. Keep in mind, none of my teamates were queued together, we were all solo.

So at the end of the game, I get an S, I have a 70+ vision score ( which was very hard because it took forever to level my spelltheives up for my wards because MF was afk at the beginning. ) I was 3/2/26.

And who does my entire team honor? The toxic mid akali because her score was 18/14/9

What in the name of god? Seriously? People are so UNGRATEFUL of a good support, and I'm sick of it.

The fact you're taking something so minor to heart is a yikes to me.

Also tells me you play the game for the wrong reasons.

You play the game to get attention and recognition and not for fun.

ehm...i dont honor the toxic ones, I literally solo carried games in which I got 0 honor. I often honor the tank because I know they dont get much honors.

Also...

Ardent is a bad purchase if your ADC is Ezreal Jhin MissFortune Lucian .

They don't rely on attack speed as much as other ADC's and don't get much value out of the on hit damage.

There are only two things in life that you can control.

Your thoughts. Your actions.

Expecting people to be grateful to you is narcissistic no matter how great your deed is. If you know for a fact that you did good, then that in and of itself should suffice. Gratitude comes easier when you don't strive for it. When you are in a community where the majority of people are complaining, loud, raging at each other, or crying for gratitude.... The quiet ones who perform well will stand out as the strong ones.

Supports get way more recognition and thanks than a jungler where if you arent ganking, warding and helping every single lane win at all at the same time while taking tower, dragon, and baron and passing over every single kill to your laners, never taking CS when helping to shove and giving them full turret gold, then you wont get honors.

If anyone sees you farming a camp at all while they die by their own misplay it'll still be your fault for not bailing them out [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

It's not always about score and performance. How well do you mesh with the team to earn great teammate? Did you communicate effectively? Did you ping appropriately (and not ping '?' on someone's dead body or whiffed ulti)? Did you convey thoughts and ideas on shot calls or made calls in chat? Did you have any initiative in laning?

Those factors and behvaiors add up to honorable votes. As an ADC main, I've had a fair share of supports could check 'no' on all the questions I've listed in this comment. It's so frustrating to deal with a 'mute' player who idles around their ADC blindly buffing and healing them without putting any work into zoning, pinging, harassing. It's like I'm there doing all this work last hitting, pinging MIA, wave management, warding river, and all my support does is sit there and heal when I get scratched, block at wrong times, hover behind me so they don't get hurt and never auto attacking to stack their spelltheifs. It sucks. They don't even ping when they go out to ward or recall they just expect the ADC to carry them.

The opposite can be true but that's not what this post is about.

Aside from stats what do you offer your teammates outside of being a ward/heal/shield bot?

The keyword here is 'bot'. Because if you play like one, you'll be treated like one.
