ive mained her and looked for any buffs. all i saw was 2 second increase on her q. why is she starting to get attention with other adcs?

She got annoying because everyone plays her. Otherwise she would just be another ADC who can sometimes do well lol.

All the true lane buddies in the lane were nerfed. The next safest ADC was well tristana. Crit was always good for Tristana, however the lane bullies made your life hell. Tristana into caitlyn early. Kiss your ass good bye 2 months ago.

last season or was this one at the start dont remember exactly she exploded in lcs with guinsoo runaan build after that they nerfed her and the items and everyone forgot about her and now they buffed ardent censer = trist is back on the line.

also as Executioner pointed out the bullies on bot that made trist life's hell before are nerfed and with ardent supp by her side she i s save to scale for the late game w/o problem.

After the ADC item buffs in midseason, Cait became extra cancer. They nerfed her synergy with item 3085 , so people discovered the item 3031 item 3087 item 3094 build with warlords. Trist was able to abuse this just as hard, if not harder than Cait.

Also item 1054 at the start gave 2 pots, so it made laning so much easier. Nerfing it didn't do much, so it kinda stuck.

Anyway, all the lane bully ADCs got nerfed, so Trist was free to do bot lane things. But she wasn't seen as broken until tanks started becoming more prominent. item 3109 was built on many tanks, and item 3193 item 3190 combo, as well as item 3504 made it so that she, and hypercarry ADCs like her were unkillable, while they shredded your whole team.

I think the first hint of the hell that was to come was back in MSI when protect the Kog comps started becoming popular because shield stacking. They would just replace Kog with Twitch and eventually Tristana

She had been a consistent and strong pick in high elo for months ever since the top of the ADC foodchain (Cait, Draven) have been nerfed.

It took the masses a while to realize such power.

And of course, crit items literally got a buff in terms of cost reduction because that time games ended too quickly before hypercarries could scale and get enough items.

Lastly, don't forget how greatly item 3504 complements their builds, Trist becomes more popular among soloQ because let's get real here, we're not trusting randoms to save ourselves.
