Played my secondary flex placement match, won, and was placed lower than my original placement

I can understand going 6-4 in placements and getting placed in bronze 1 after being silver 2 last season, but when they have me play another game for a new placement and i WIN, i get placed a division lower than i was originally placed... that makes no sense to me. Can someone possibly explain this to me?
