A question about the new pick intent function

Can I opt out of picking a champion? Because quite often when I'm playing draft/ranked I don't have a specific support in mind that I want to use and I usually prefer to pick my support based on when my allies and opponents have chosen. Like in my most recent game I was thinking about who I might play and Soraka didn't even come to mind until I saw what both teams had picked.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of being able to tell my allies if I want to play a certain champ, but can players like me choose to pick based on what their allies pick?
